Sales of Comshare Applications Lead the Way in Aexis Group's 300% Growth
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2000--Comshare distributor Aexis Group, a dominant player in the business software and services market in Belgium, France and Luxembourg has seen a revenue growth of over 300% for the 1999 fiscal year. Profit before tax was up 279%. Growth was a result of internal growth of the existing business -- especially for Comshare software -- and acquisitions.
Frank Peeters, Managing Director, Aexis International says, "Our close relationship with Comshare has contributed substantially to our success. Comshare's Management Planning and Control (MPC) solutions account for 75% of our revenue so a major part of our growth can be attributed to the strong performance of these applications."
"Now that the Year 2000 problems have been faced more and more companies have started investing in large business intelligence projects. With the products that Aexis distributes and the knowledge the company has build up over the last ten years, we feel very confident that this strong growth will continue year on year."
Nigel Youell, Marketing Director, Comshare, adds, "We are very pleased to hear this news so soon after our renewed distributor agreement. Aexis dominates the Belgian and French market for Management Planning and Control (MPC) applications and our relationship is a key element in our strategic goal to lead the European market for e-business MPC applications."
