After talking with the folks at Forecross I believe that the XML implementation project that the company announced a month or so ago is the first and only mainframe XML implementation project using automated software going on anywhere in the world. Does anybody on this board know of any others? It is for a large east coast financial institution that is an old Forecross customer, I guess some of us know who that is, and the customer must be pleased. Don't forget it is still very very early in the XML implementation market. My director of IS tells me that this is a tough job and tough to automate, but at the same time very akin to the automated migration jobs Forecross has been doing for two decades.
