I understand your concern about dishonest shorts.

As far as Carl goes, I have never seen him intentionally post inaccurate information. Some of the longs get very upset about things Carl says, but they rarely have been able to refute his arguments.

I can see a case where DRDRAM becomes an important technology for 2GHz+ CPUs. For now, SDRAM provides enough bandwidth, better latency, and a much lower cost. No one needs DRDRAM right now.
