Actually the game is this: If energy prices
drop in the month, then include the drop. If
energy prices rise in the month, then it is an
anomaly so ignore it. I am not joking.

The BLS effectively said this in the January report,
when you look at the fine print at the end of that
report. There was a discussion of this at the time
on the MDD thread.

So what part of energy went down??
