Excellent commentary, as was James Glassman's in the WSJ. Both made similar points about the Clinton's regime's reckless intrusion of government into high tech, the 1/2 trillion in loses so far and the far-reaching negative consequences their actions.

Perhaps if Gates had rented the Lincoln bedroom a few times like Ted Turner or hosted one of AlGore's Buddhist temple fundraisers then MSFT would have had protection. I believe Gates intimated as much.

So much for regrets, at this point we can only cheer him on.
