EDS called analysts thursday evening after the market closed-
<<Wit Soundview analyst Gary Helmig, who said he was called by EDS management Thursday evening, said the reason for the lowered revenue guidance was ``somewhat unexplainable.''

``They've had strong bookings this quarter and coming into this quarter,'' he said. ``Management said that May results had come in lower than expected.''

Several analysts reduced their revenue targets for the company early on Friday.

EDS said management had called Wall Street analysts individually on Thursday ahead of the company's Friday press release.

Bryum said, ``We talked to analysts last night, after the close of trade. We made full disclosure this morning.''>>

Is this why Instinet was trading EDS at $47 after hours and there was a 2 million share imbalance at the open this morning? It looks like the discussion with the analyst's before making the press release kinda backfired in my opinion. Instead of getting support from the street, it looks like they threw bombs!!!!
