We ALL miss Jill.
And we all miss the past. Which gets better of course in retrospect.
Do you remember a late night on Poets when you and I were talking about something, and John Galt showed up and was totally charming- it was a total shock, like maybe jla showing up at the door of DAR with a bottle of champagne and flowers. I have this weird brain that recalls discussions as if they were scenes in a play, with a set and costumes. This one in my mind has you and me in our nightgowns, in the dark, with a soft light or a candle maybe,talking about some poet.. and John came in, quietly and sat down with us, and it was just lovely.
Maybe I need to start staying up late and looking for quiet corners.
