Karen, you can have one child and not understand how to properly raise or love it. Also, it's not some exact science you read in a book and become an expert on.

The church isn't cleaning up after itself. People are ultimately responsible for their individual decision to bare children or not. The church may create an atmosphere which encourages children being born. But the decision is up to the individual.

The worlds population could probably fit inside the states of Texas, Florida and California relatively comfortably.

Once again, the destruction of wild animal habitat is largely a by-product of a struggle to lift oneself out of poverty. Nations which are prosperous (if they choose) can afford to set aside land for Panda's and Tigers. Nations which are poor cannot. Therefore, whether the Panda's or Tigers have sufficient habitat is effected more by economic freedom then by population levels.

If you're feeling a lack of elbow room. I recommend taking a vacation to Alaska. The space is awe inspiring!
