Victor............

For me you hit the nail on the head.
Though Memberships weren't "just" one of the many
revenue streams Memberships were supposed to be the river
while other streams were just tributaries.

The 30,000 goal was for annual members @ $350 or so
per year. (Remember "all of this for less than
on e dollar a day"?).

30,000 @ 350 would have equaled $10,500,000
annual net revenue

The 10 K and 10 q with membership revs of $7,000
and $4,000 respectively make obvious that not only is
there no traction, the starter hasn't been installed
in the engine.

(Revenue generated and accounted for via barters-
eg. for three pickles, I'll give you one fish-
just isn't the same).

The changes in how memberships are billed from
annually to monthly further suggests a reluctance
to join despite GZ's travels and interest from COC's,
thus the database becomes a chicken and egg
predicament.

The D & B date base of 3.2 mil or whatever companies,
to me has always been just an outline. This database
only gets filled out by people and their businesses
actively engaged on the site accessible only to members
and therefore of value mainly to members.

Thus without members you don't get the added data.
Without the added data, "real content" worth
joining the site for you don't get the members.

It reminds me of GZ's demo via one of the early
demonstrations. GZ demonstrated the value of the
database by doing a search for a PVC company in South Korea.
This search reveal a lot of critical pertinent
info about what the company does, provides, and how to
contact them. But if you did the same search for just about any other product, or in any other country,
you got what was essentially useless info w/o
even links to web pages let alone email addresses.

The South Korean PVC company for GZ's demo was a "ringer".

Well, anyway, 'nuff said.
Hopefully this database will continually be improved
in quality more so than in quantity.

Build it and hopefully they'll still come.
