It wasn't a smoothbore - at least I don't think so. It was rifled and threw a whacking quarter-pound ball or half-pound conical. But just think. That was one of the most famous small arms in history. Betcha some CSCO-bloated collector already ponied up and is now waving the thing and practicing his delivery of "Dr. Livingstone, I presume"!
