Yes, indeed. But you are right, political questions are certainly at the heart of the problem.

It's perhaps odd that I can agree with all the above, save the last sentence. Tyranny I want to know about, so as to avoid it. It will definitely NOT work, IMO. No "might" about it.
Freedom works.
Advancements spread. Communication improvements spread free thoughts and hence, the impetus to achieve freedom spreads, often even if the speaker is selling something else.
