eventually can and will sort itself out...<<

Yes.

There is always the Initial Period.
Which is like initials, for what's to come.
You know, like A.D.

Which, as you say, sorts itself out, as the cream forms right within the noise.

We'll start to see some excellent work so, or ARE; and it will grow the way photography and photographers did. But become an entirely separate thing.

A new thing, yes; but not just cliche new. Nouveau sort of; and then Sophisticated; and the media of presentation will be indistinguishable background for style and art and journalism.

All media are merging to the web, for projects that want to be there. (I'm not saying they ALL do.) (okay?)

But collaboration and evolutionary ideo-spirals are going to be huge. Independent works will be huge. Effects on people's thinking ~ MONSTROUS. And these can be nice monsters.

Transformation of ideas into presentation at record speed.

It will increase their density, yes; their common-ness; but I garntee ya quality and scope and definition are going to explode like never before.

Editors, and compilations, and sources, will become more important.

Basically, on-line magazines.

We should jump in right now.

(Hee hee.)
