Ike, There is not much to be commented on. The unregulated gambling of our banking institutions threatens to cause the greatest depression in history. But there isn't much we can do about it. And, by this time, any efforts to gain control of the situation are more likely to cause the system to collapse than to help it. So, I remain real optimistic about the way these reckless idiots have put the world financial system at risk. <VBG>

I also like the fact that the article pointed out that a slowdown in the growth rate of borrowing is now considered a growth slowdown. That is like saying that a car that goes from 0-60 mph in 6 seconds, but takes 10 seconds to go from 60-120 mph is slowing down. Oh, well, I guess nobody figures out the problem until the butcher wagons show up to carry away what remains of the bodies.
