Multico, re: < Doesn't it bother you that there are probably many RMBS investors
who have come to this board for information and have been frightened into selling their holdings prematurely based on unsubstantiated garbage freely posted here?>

FUD works both ways, of course. As an investor site, SI offers the opportunity to view and discuss both sides of the issues. Any post of "unsubstantiated garbage", (by either side of an issue), is typically readily attacked on this thread. On the other hand, there is a lot of valuable information that can be mined here. But it's ultimately up to the individual investor to determine the weight of the arguments when making a decision.

I think that SI's terms of use pretty much summarizes the caution any investor should use on a board like this:

You should exercise discretion and skepticism before relying on information in messages, since it may be incorrect or misleading. Members may pretend to be people that they are not. Some members may have dishonest and/or deceitful intentions or may have inaccurate information -- so beware! You should make an independent investigation before making any financial decisions, and if you rely on information posted by other members you do so solely at your own risk.
