Jane, how well I know the beach! Born in La Jolla and then spent most of my formative years between Palos Verdes and Manhattan Beach...I'm still only 30-45 minutes away from lots of sun & surf...anyway,,,

INPH...it's not so much that I like that sector, it's that I like high-percentage opportunities (SCON at 15 or OMKT at 8-10 are good examples). I was completely out of INPH but saw it bounce off 12 1/2; it was a chart buy if nothing else and the downside was/is pretty limited. Same with JNIC at 25-26...still a low-risk buy right now (imo).

Although I do believe we have already started a summer rally of sorts, that's almost immaterial. Since the March-April bloodbath this has become (more than ever) a picker's market. Some stocks will never recover (and probably with good reason). Others will have only a brief "dead cat bounce" and a few others are legitimate bargains and opportunities. Low summer-market volume will tend to limit widespread buying hysteria until fall so we need to choose carefully.

I only wish I could spend more time researching all the fantastic posts on this thread! Every day, Rande and regular posters come up with incredibly rational picks and news items (occasional posters come through with some real diamonds as well--Donny Brasco's ISLD call, for example).

And always there is the caution to "profit often" which was my biggest error in early March (a lesson I hope to have learned!). I use sell stops more frequently now without shame or ego conflicts!

Enjoy the beautiful weekend and don't forget the sunscreen!

Regards, Mark
