At this meeting WorldHeart executives will review the current

status of the Corporation and its HEARTSAVERvad(TM) product

and discuss future plans, including the acquisition of

Novacor, the Oakland, California based ventricular assist

device operation of Edwards Lifesciences Corporation.

HEARTSAVERvad(TM) is a fully implantable heart assist device

designed to provide long-term support of pulsatile blood flow

to people suffering from heart failure.
