RDRAM is a new technology. One of its architectural features is the new motherboards available, along with their various controllers. With any early revisions, performance is unlikely to be optimised. So while there is no direct software to take advantage of RDRAM, you have to consider the whole concept of an RDRAM based PC and how u compare it with a PC built around components (some of which can benefit from optimised drivers) that have been available for some time. The point made was that benchmarks for RDRAM based systems have room for improvement, whilst SDRAM systems are at the end of the line. It was a valid point.
