hmaly,

Re:"space, privacy etc"

Yes, but its all largely a factor of what you get used to.

In england we lived in a "3bed semi" and most of the time was spent downstairs in about 240 sq. ft. in front of the tv in the single living room/dining room/family room.

When i came out here i bought a 3 bedroom home of 1350 sq. ft and that felt HUGE.

Our current home is much larger and i cannot imagine living in a smaller home.

However, clearly its just a matter of what you get used to.

There are families who live in 400-600 sq ft apartments in places like singapore etc.

Must be honest, i do like my "space".

regards,

Kash
