You may already be aware of it, but T has a site where you can look up phone numbers:

teldir.com

When I used it recently, a message came with the number I wanted saying they would dial it for me. The phone number was a link so I punched it. A dialogue box came up saying "Let's test your microphone and then we will dial the number for you.". I clicked off but it is interesting to see VoIP getting some of its first use. I bet it is part of the investment by T in net to phone. We need to get built in microphones before this will take off. Apple used to have this feature but it died for lack of interest.

This is a step up from what I have seen so far. I have seen a lot of the use as customer service. For example, you go to the customer service page and you get the message: "for customer service, type in your phone number and click on this button." The moment you click on the button your phone rings and a CSR is there. It kind of shocked me the first time I did it.
