Good Question. You can call Bell Atlantic Wireless at 1-800-308 DATA and ask technical support(option 3) if they support the Palm IIIc. They are open on Sunday. They will give you a much better deal on the Novatel Wireless Minstrel III Modem than Novatel will if you sign up with them. My gut feeling is that the answer is yes, because it is part of the Palm III family, which they support. The Proxiweb question is not so clear. The last version of Proxiweb(3.5) came out last October before the Palm IIIc and IIIxe did. Dated: 10/19/1999 There is no question in my mind that Proxiweb will make the next version of their software compatible with the IIIc and IIIxe if it is not already compatible. One can call up PUMA Technology and ask. Qualcomm is coming out very soon with their final non beta release of their Eudora Internet suite for the Palm. I would only be interested in checking out their browser as the Yahoo mail option works beautifully on Proxiweb in allowing me to retrieve all my Email on my PC from my Palm. download.cnet.com I would not download this beta version. Wait for the free non beta version to come out in July. Qualcomm's browser will certainly work on your PalmIIIc. I would be interested in seeing if their browser will support SSL technology and graphics like Proxiweb. Their PDQ browser was good but inferior to Proxiweb. I was able to access SI on it but had trouble posting messages. And they had the nerve to charge $45 after a month of free trial use! Their new software will be free. But there is a catch there. In order to sync your Email on your PC with there software for the Palm, you have to sign up with them for their Eudora account. I would download their software and then delete their Eudora Email applications and just use their browser as a back up for Proxiweb when it comes out. You may want to call up Novatel too if your not satisfied with the response from Bell Atlantic: novatelwireless.com Keep me informed. I'm quite interested and will only be happy to point you in the right direction here in terms of getting the best software on your PalmIIIc.
