When you first made that statement, the only 1GHz Athlons available were from FAB 25 in Austin. The same fab that also makes .25 micron K6-2s and .18 micron K6-2+ chips. Intel, on the other hand, has at least four fabs, some that may be huge megafabs, making .18 processors, and ALL they can come up with is equivalent quantities of 1GHz processors? And this is something for you to brag about??? Sorry if I sound a little confrontational tonight...the Stars lost...
