Pat,

I wasn't expecting a quick response, as I read your post saying you'd be at Supercom. I hope it was a fruitful trip.

* the warrants are not in the money

* if the stock were to quadrouple and charter was to exercise them, they would still be less than 1/1000 of com 21 stock

That's good to hear.

As for this being the OEM product, I doubt it since it's for voice. BRCM is doing that chip. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, the PR states that the volume purchase agreement is for the DOXport 111 modem which, according to the CSFB report you posted earlier, is a Turbonet OEM product.

"The company currently offers several DOCSIS certified cable modems, two fo which it OEMs from TurboNet Communications (DOXport 111 and DOXport 101) and one that was developed in-house (DOXport 1010)."

Does anyone know what %-age of modems shipped are the OEM DOXport 101 & 111?

The PR states that Charter will be helping to test and characterize Com21's future VoIP products. Although this does provide a good case for Com21 being able to sell these products to Charter in the future, it is not what the current purchase agreement is about.
