Why is what Heinz says "far-fetched?" The Swiss Franc is almost synynomous with sound currency, so attention to how they manage their money supply is certainly relevant to any discussion of what money is and what determines its value. One can follow monetary statistics by free subscription to, or use of the following site: stls.frb.org Also, the back pages of The Economist include such information. It's hard to see that there is any point to the comments in your message.
