Read the Roaring 2000's by Harry S. Dent, Jr. He feels, among other things, that we are in a bull market. He feels "bandwidth" will propel the Internet and the major companies having a stake in it.

If Harry is right, we are in a major "bull market".

I feel he is right. I also believe that stock ownership in Europe and Asia is greatly increasing along with a trend towards international mergers of exchanges. This increases the probability that companies that are international in their business focus will be held more widely. This will place a "floor" under many stocks as well as create a supply and demand problem, leading to an upward bias.

So along with the "generation wave" and the rise of the "baby boomer" I agree we are not in a bear market at all.
