Dale,

<<When did Durban acquire Blyvoors, Harties & Doorn? >>
Harties was acquired last year. The other 2 were acquired two or more years ago I believe.

<<Who else has disappeared from the SA landscape? E.G., what happened to Vaal, Free State, & Western Deeps?>>
I believe Anglogold (AU) was formed out of these 3. Yes there has been a lot of restructuring in SA which has allowed them to survive the low POG. Goldfields (GOLD) is another company to look at.

I own quite a bit of DROOY. Sometimes I wish I had held on to my Harmony, but at these prices I can't see myself selling DROOY to buy Harmony. At its current price under $1 you are getting 1.2 million oz per year of production for under $120 million market cap. And it is profitable cash flow wise.
