Russell Restructuring Jim, the Russell restructuring brings about shift in institutional investing. The first part of the annual event took place this weekend as the prelimary list of addittions and substractions to the Russell 3000 have been named. The complete schedule: <june 9: The first preliminary lists of the companies being added and deleted from the Russell 3000 Index will be posted on Russell.com. June 16 and 23: Updated preliminary lists of additions and deletions will be available. July 1: Newly rebalanced indexes go into effect. July 10: Final membership lists for the Russell 1000©, Russell 2000©, and Russell 3000© indexes will be (in alphabetical order) available to all investors on Russell.com. > Preliminary deletions: russell.com Preliminary additions: russell.com Feature story at Morningstar site on Russell restructuring: news.morningstar.com Some well know names on both lists.
