I immediately saw the book---it had a blue cover- with a church spire on it, didn't it? And the first question was- Who is God?

My curiosity overcame my laziness and I headed for my library to see if I still had my old catechism. Put my hand on it right away. It was squished between Being and Nothingness and The Prophet.

Mine was gray, copyright 1941, Diocese of Patterson. No church spire. On the inside cover I had written "Holy Virgin Mary! Pray for us and for all the poor pagan children." The first question is "Who made us." The second is "Who is God." I skimmed the whole book and couldn't find a single word remotely related to the subject of population.
