Kap, Scumbria, Dan and Pravin,

I am fairly confident that we will not see any volume shipment at 0.13 from Dresden or Austin this Calendar year. We'll surely see partial shrinks here and there along with speed path improvements which should easily take Athlon to at least 1.5 GHz.

I follow semi equipment companies very closely and shipment of production quality tools/upgrades for 0.13 has just started to selected chip makers. It will take months of qualification once those tools are installed and it will take a while to ramp it to any volume after that.

If Robert Crutza is reading this, I would like to know what he thinks.
