Kirk: Yes, they were hammered. I watched them trade on Friday. I could not believe the amount of shares that kept showing up on the ask side for financial stocks. Sellers were everywhere.

Bulls hope this is a consolidation move. The sector has done real well as you know.

Short term, I see it as part of a rotation to techs in light of the full valuation of the financials. But I am going to watch them closely.
