Might have mentioned this on DAR before...

Got a bad shock about about 2 years ago... from an electric fence. Normally they won't give you too bad of a shock if you touch them while wearing rubber boots, which I was.

However, this day, I was out working in the yard when one of the horses walked by and then slipped in some mud. She sort of "sat" on me and pushed me down onto one of our electric fences....so it was my body that provided the "connectivity" between the horse and the fence... I don't know how long I was under the horse for...but it wasn't a short shock...went on for at least 5-10 seconds as the horse scrambled around trying to get back up off of me... That was plenty long enough. By that point, it felt like my heart was an anvil being pounded by a giant hammer. When the horse finally got off of me, I stumbled away to sit on an old plow out in the field... eeekkk... talk about adrenalin rush... my heart felt some crazy for at least 2 or 3 minutes after...
