Hello Alexa!! A belated Happy Mother's Day to you and penni.

Bio-blobs. Hee hee. Now THAT'S funny. Actually this was partially my own experience, with reference to my own father. Many men are very evasive about being involved especially during the first few years (in my father's case, maybe the first eighteen years or so). No reference to your own situation. It's just that I find that, for the most part, if men WANT to be involved as more than just a breadwinner, they are perfectly welcome to (particularly with the advent of Pampers et al vs. traditional cloth and safety pins, when conscientious mothers were mortally terrified over the father's potential fumbling slip), for many fathers it's just more comfortable not to be involved in all that stuff and a lot of them just don't admit it.
