Lightpath investor, Hugawedo, wrote me an email (back several days ago), that I just took the time to open up, this morning. He noted that I haven't written much on this board, for awhile & suggested that I might want to respond here (Yahoo & SI), as to my feelings about investments in LPTH - so here goes.
Sorry Hugawedo; I've been keeping quite busy in my professional endeavors, as well as in my life. And frankly, I just haven't been as inspired to follow my investment in Lightpath (my largest holding), since seeing it (more than) quintuple, while holding it all the way through. Of course, my other investments dropped, too - although I managed to sell most of my Cisco, almost right at their all-time high, just after the split in March & before the market crash in early April. Still though, I expect to enjoy seeing LPTH soar above the March highs (now seemingly very OLD highs), perhaps later this summer or fall.
I did post on the LPTHA board yesterday morning (Sat), with regard to exercising my Zs (had a good amount of the common shares, since my first purchase, Oct, 99, too). Even though I haven't been taking the time to post much on the LPTH yahoo board, I HAVE been following MANY of the discussions, albeit a little sporadically, compared to the way I used to follow it.
And, I did make a positive note about the most recent LP announcement (Dr. Jain), just after it appeared in the news, last Thursday morning.
Anyway, from all that I have gathered, I expect a rise in LPTH, this coming week - perhaps upon any formal proclamation of attachment to a trading index - certainly upon the expected LP news release, announcing all of the warrant conversions, et al. I imagine that there may be other good (financially valuable) news attached to the warrant conversion notice, as is usually the case with such things.
Long-term, investment in Lightpath looks even better.
In closing, I used to write - fortune favors the brave. It's been quite a while now, since I've written that - because I do NOT think it takes much bravery to buy into Lightpath, anymore. And to hold LPTH for the longer term, without any sleepless nights, seems pretty easy, to me. I hope it's likewise, for all here.
Good investing, to all. rZ |
