Hey, Thanks Rarebird. I found out one thing on E Bay. The modem you have will not work on the IIIc. One guy specifically says this is why he is selling his Minstrel III modem. He "upgraded" from a IIIe to IIIc, and his modem doesn't work anymore. Oh, well, I'll keep looking for one that works on the IIIC. I will call Bell Atlantic tomorrow. It appears we have coverage here in Houston with GTE something, or another. I found that on the site you posted earlier on coverage areas. I'll keep you informed on what's going on, and will take you up on helping me pick out the right software. Thank you again for your help. Tom
