In the case of AWRE I don't think it is required to fill the gaps. The reasons being as follows.

Aware is a leader in an explosive new growth area, which really is a revolution such as the industrial revolution. More so than when the personal computer came on scene. Where the PC was attractive to those who could afford them and had a knack for that type of stuff it only created a market of a portion of our society. Now the need to be connected to the 'Net is different. Just about everyone will have access to broadband...and those with existing copper connections will be getting it via that manner most likely. That puts AWRE in a market and growth setting that will shoot up without retracing to fill gaps. What has held AWRE back is (A) they are small and still pretty much unknown. (B) They are not well understood for what they have to offer and it's value. (C) Aware's customers (other than ADI) have yet to ring in with earnings results showing what their Aware technology based products are producing in regard to revenues. Only one thing is needed to send this stock soaring...confirmation of the value the technology and patents Aware has. As always...IMHO of course.
