To assume that because folks have a different outlook than yours that they are losing money is just plain arrogant. I agree 100%. But it cuts both ways. Why do permabears thrive on threads like "All Clown Must be Destroyed" and talk about bubbles and tulips? And not just "different philosophies about the market?" They don't just want to be proved right; they want to see those who disagree with them destroyed, burst, plucked or whatever. Grumpy wants to see us all "humbled" for transgressing the bear orthodoxy. I drop in on the Clowns thread from time to time and the sheer amount of venom is disgusting. There is as much hatred and revenge at work as market analysis - gleeful hope that people "on the other side" will be wiped out. Is there a "Squeeze the Bears Into Bankruptcy and Laugh About It" thread? I never saw it.....
