LONDON, June 12 (Reuters) - British biopharmaceuticals company Powderject Pharmaceuticals Plc (LSE: PJP.L - news) confirmed on Monday it had held talks with Celltech Group Plc (LSE: CCH.L - news) regarding a possible purchase of Celltech's vaccine business.
Celltech inherited the business from Medeva which it took over last year but wants to sell it as it does not form part of its core operations.
Powderject Chief Executive and Chairman Paul Drayson told Reuters: "We have talked but I can't comment further."
