Dear Skeeter Bug: From your post, it seems evident that the results emanating from the RMBS association are the exact OPPOSITE results for which they wished. I said two years ago, they should ignore AMD and concentrate on making the best (meaning RELIABLE first, FAST second) Microchips in the industry. Intel has vastly greater financial resources, marketing ability, name recognition etc and they have pissed it away to some extent in this ridiculous speed contest with AMD. It is my opinion the vast majority of the public wishes to have a sound reliable system with reasonable speed. Only a very few FANATICS really give a damn about a couple hundred or less extra points on the speed chart. I feel, at this point, once you have reached 800mh or so whats the point? JDN
