ATG, that is what i'm thinking as well...it of course heresy to think that way right now. the new era proponents have it that valuation metrics have changed for good, forever. see Glassman and the other fellow in their Dow 36K book...they argue stocks have lost their risk premium due to a rational assessment by investors. i doubt rationality had anything to do with it.. regards, hb
