And then there were four....

COL over DET in six (this is assuming Forsberg comes back - if he's injured anything possible)

PHI over NYR in six (NYR big edge in goal but PHI size and depth win in end)

Both series should be exciting to watch. COL/DET absolutely hate each other, especially C.Lemieux. Gretz/Mess vs. Lindros/Leclair - what more needs to be said.

Look for Rangers to lose first game like they have for 8 consecutive series. Maybe they should tell the Rangers that the series starts a day earlier so that they get that first bad game out of their system before the series actually starts.

Look for PHI to play Snow/Hextall at same time to have comparable goaltending to Richter.

Leading Con Smythe canidates so far in '97 playoffs:
C. Lemieux
Sakic
Richter
Gretzky
Lindros
Vernon

Hard to believe Roy isn't up there but the winningest playoff goaltender of all time hasn't won too many games by himself yet. His team's too good for him to steal the show.
