The 100 minute plan costs $169.99 monthly and airtime is $1.49 per minute in the home area. A one time $50 activation fee applies. Call toll-free at 1-888-222-6616 " By way of contrast, ICC offers Inmarsat Mini-M terminals for 2395$. A G* phone with a zero or 50 minute plan is 999$. ICC site also provides an updated "Roadmap." skyplus.icc.com Dated May 31, it replaces one of a similar format dated May 15. It's good to see frequent updates of the roadmap, but I regret to report that there is continued evidence of schedule erosion as well as inconsistancies with the roaming information dated May 30 at globalstarusa.com Roaming support by Gateways in Australia and Venezuela said to be available "mid July" (was May 19 and May 31, respectively in the May 15 roadmap, though GUSA says "July.") Peurto Rico/Caribbean coverage slips from August to September (consistent with GUSA). S. Africa and South Korea roaming said to be available in July (G*USA says September and August, respectively)
