Would you include braodband sats in your W&W list? With both DISH and DirecTV coming out with Ka-band within a year, they may be quite competitive to the cellular-based broadband offerings. And both have in common the great advantage of being able to bypass the local telco.

Unfortunately, at this point I don't know the segment well enough to offer some gorilla or king candidates in the equipment space. Norsat (NSATF), which is making the Outdoor Units for DirecTV's offering. NSATF is a shiny pebble, I think.
