Update on Iridium: a group called Castle Harlan, Inc. is negotiating to buy the constellation. Motorola has not been paid for current operations, and claims that if it is not paid by 6/30/00, it will commence deorbiting the satellites. In the meantime, the Committee of Unsecured Creditors wants to file an adversary proceeding against Chase Manhattan, which is represented by Richard S. Toder, Esq. of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP. On 6/2/00, Judge Blackshear signed an order ordering the parties to show cause why he should not be recused due to his relationship with Mr. Toder. The hearing is set for June 21, 2000.
