The NYT has reported on the CTRX CC. There are some numbers from the company in the article.

I got the impression from what I heard of the call that their ERP system has basically broken from the change from shrink-wrap to paper/license. I also got the impression that CTXS doesn't have much faith in their own financial models. I could be way off base, but I think financial projections from the company at this point are "by guess and by golly".

Could anyone familiar with the inner workings of ERP systems provide any enlightenment? Thanks - peggylynn

In "a lot of the answers to a lot of the questions, you guys have been dodging around the issue," said Paul Dravis, analyst for Banc of America Securities. Calling the company's communications with investors "atrocious," Dravis told company executives, "You're going to lose a lot of credibility here."

His outburst came after analysts had rephrased the same question about the coming quarter for more than an hour. Finally, one analyst inquired bluntly:

"Would it be realistic to say you're looking at a three-to-six-month drop-off before you regain the momentum you had before this?"

"Yes," came the answer from John Cunningham, the company's chief financial officer. He added that the company must fix its system to concentrate on large deployments to corporate customers.
