excellent running commentary report on the economy: ragingbull.com one thing they fail to mention is that the IBS (International Bank of Settlements), the bank the US Federal Reserve, and other G7 members utilize to square off their debt loads, is the bank to be watching to determine interest rate direction. Greenspan has separated from the IBS in the past, but not very often. Indications are, though, that Greenspan is beginning to consider the interests of the U.S. over those of the IBS. This would be truly heroic on his part.
