Heinz: Most serious is anything below Sahel. What's a real killer is that this morbus hits those that make things run, the socially and economically viable. See for instance Uganda. They were a shimmer of hope after all the Adi Amin, Tansania, Rwanda & Co horror stories...Now their rate of infection is in high 20s. Its not something that spreads among "gays, junkies and single mothers" or whatever our current reason to ignore AIDS has been lately.

The world congress on AIDS is starting in cca 10 days in SAR. Will have some news when my room mate comes back. Right now he sure looks kinda yellow, after all the shots he had to go through ;\.
