Haven't heard any reasons for the activity, valid or otherwise. But your statement is obviously the understatement of the year to date, with the price up almost 15% on volume of 100,000 for the first time in a while.

The decline must be getting very close to half way there, and perhaps there is some implied significance in that. We shall hear in due course, no doubt.
