Yours is typical Hillary thought in action. The longer one stays alive, the more likelihood that the basket of goods and services for health care will grow. You become more vulnerable to the diseases such as diabetes, parkinson's, etc that are linked to age and accumulation of lifestyle such as overeating, lack of exercise, stress, etc. If hedonic pricing was applicable to health care, you should be able to point to reduced expenditures in the health care basket. Then applying hedonic pricing would be redundant. Unfortunately, it's not resulting in real savings of costs.
