It's probably kind of late to add my two cents, but I just noticed these posts - I had the SilkRoad thread bookmarked from the beginning - SilkRoad was always questionable, and neither Frank Coluccio nor ahhaha ever said otherwise. The way I read the posts, it was more like "well, this sounds interesting if they can do it" at the beginning. At the end, there was a lot of bad news from many sources. If you follow Frank, which I do, he never ever hypes a company, he always talks about technology. And he's always a gentleman. You might learn a lot from him.

I wonder if maybe your problem is that you don't understand fiber optic technology, and you assumed, when Frank posted answers to technology questions on the SilkRoad thread, that somehow the answers were intended to apply to SilkRoad?
