SEDONA Corporation Announces Comprehensive Customer Relationship Management Solution for Small- to Mid-sized Financial Services Companies
Intarsia(TM) V1.2 available for select beta sites
LIMERICK, Penn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 2000-- SEDONA© Corporation (NASDAQ: SDNA - news; www.SEDONAcorp.com) announced today that Intarsia(TM), its new Internet customer relationship management (CRM) application solution for small- to mid-sized financial services companies, has become available to selected beta customers.

Intarsia is a comprehensive CRM solution that provides personalized customer interactions and profitability management to help optimize sales and marketing opportunities specifically for small and mid-sized financial services companies such as community banks, credit unions, brokerage firms and insurance agencies.

Intarsia V1.2 integrates an enhanced version of SEDONA's existing Customer Information Management System (CIMS) with its Visual Profiling application. Previously, these products were available only as individual components. In addition, Lead Factory, an Internet lead tracking and management application announced earlier this year, will be added in as an integral part of Intarsia.

How Intarsia Works

Intarsia users are able to enhance their internal customer and/or prospect data from back office systems, with ``live'' user demographics, behaviors, interests and preferences information provided by third-party content management suppliers. This enhanced data is then visually filtered and analyzed to provide timely and precise ``information-on-demand'' or ``Smart Content'' to all Intarsia's CRM front office components, such as lead tracking and management, profitability management, promotion management, segment management and report publisher. Intarsia enables small and mid-sized financial services companies to:

-- create ``look-a-like'' profiling models to effectively identify

prospects that share the same characteristics as their best

customers

-- identify, manage and measure who the most profitable customers,

households or products are

-- develop personalized sales and marketing initiatives to improve

their up-selling and cross-selling capabilities
