Parris Island, 1959. Platoon 342, 26 recruits. Father of one recruit is a baker. Sends 26 pounds of cookies to his son. 11:15 a.m Platoon formation. Approx 1 pound of cookies distributed to each recruit, (in each helmet). 11:30 a.m Platoon formation. Recruits eat all their cookies. 12:00 p.m Double time to mess hall. D.I. requires each recruit receive double portions. (must finish or die) 1:00 p.m. Double time to obstacle course. 1:10 p.m Run obstacle course till every one pukes. Led an exciting life back then......I got a ton of em! Semper Fi! Dominick
